Movie Review

Across The Universe Review
The movie "Across The Universe" was a good musical, it relates to people and catches attention easily. The music is good for people who enjoy the Beetles, but if you are not a fan of that genre you may choose otherwise when deciding to watch this film.
In this film the characters all become close during the Vietnam War. Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood), and her brother Max (Joe Anderson) come across new challenges and new friends such as Jude (Jim Sturgess), Sadie (Dana Fuchs), Jo-Jo (Martin Luther), and Prudence (T.V. Carpio) they come together and accept the challenges that come upon them.
When the characters come together and really express how they feel and show the effects of the war on their lives and how everyone is different, the director did and good job relating to reality. Jude and Max become close and prove to be true friends and that shows the audience what a true friend really means to someone.
"Across The Universe" really was a catch. It is easy to relate to and catches the attention of the viewer, although, if you are not a fan of musicals or of the Beetles choose wisely when planning on seeing this film. I thought overall it was a good film and really enjoyable, the cast and director did a great job filming and singing in the movie.
